We are excited about a new video tutorial page on our website. Bill is ready for his closeup as he demonstrates the basic steps for turning a strip of bottle glass into a beautiful shell bead featured in our recycled glass jewelry. In the second, Bill demonstrates some basic steps to make a little yellow glass duck. Since many of you don't work with hot glass, we hope you find it interesting. Bottle glass is rather temperamental and needs some extra care in handling. But all glass beads take a while to make, whether it is recycled glass or the soda lime glass used in our other colorful beads, birds and other critters. Click here to see the page. We aren't going to win any Oscars, but Bill did a darn good job filming these with his iPhone!

I do kiln work but not lamp work, it was really interesting to see how it's done. Thanks for the demos of two such different techniques! Inia
