![]() The summer 2013 edition of Belle Armoire Jewelry is on the newsstand and we are happy to have two articles in this gorgeous magazine. Whether you are a jewelry maker or an admirer of the art and craft of wearable art, this issue is for you. Our contributions are in the area of hot glass, lampworking and fusing, but the whole magazine is full of gorgeous projects. I love the work of the artist whose druzy pendant is featured on the cover and inside is amazing work cover to cover. Editor Cynthia is seemingly tireless in curating a wide range of styles and design. As I have mentioned before, if you try one of our projects and have a problem, send me a note and I'll try and help you through it.

![]() My husband Bil asked me to make him a new wedding ring after he lost his. It was a beautiful white and yellow gold ring with hammered accents. But it was always huge on his finger and he couldn't be bothered to take it in to be sized, and I didn't want to tackle that job. He is sad it's gone now, but didn't like not having one (there is a sweet guy...) Anyway, I came up with this in the studio this weekend. He loves it. Says it's a good sturdy weight, comfortable width and likes the texture. This one is sterling silver, instead of gold. But if he's happy, I'm happy! ![]() We are thrilled to be included in the June 2013 issue of Step by Step Wire magazine. I've read the magazine for years, have learned some great techniques and it was time to pay it forward and share one of our own creations. The "No Fuss, No Mess!" cover line indicates our article on page 28. You will see my husbands thumbs in the step out photos I took. If you are creatively inclined, try it out. The bracelet requires fusing and magazine editors have noted it as an advanced skill project. If you try making it and have a problem, send me an email through our contact page, I'll try and walk you through it. If you are all thumbs and want to buy one, check out our bracelet page! |
