A couple of weeks ago I finished these two silver and Chinese writing stone pieces just as we were about to head out the door for a two-day show. Glad I snapped the pictures because the square one went to a good home and I like to have a record of everything we have made. I love semi-precious stones and Chinese writing stone (really from California) is one of my favorites. It's the first day of fall in our hemisphere. It would be a good day for yard work but we are down in the studio all weekend doing our thing getting ready for another show next weekend in New Hope, Pa. The warm earth tones of the stones on the bench and glass we pulled out of the kiln this morning feel just right for the season. Enjoy this lovely time of year wherever you are.
