We have been on the road a lot the last two months and it was fun to come home to my contributors copy of Belle Armoire Jewelry magazine's autumn edition. My earrings are included in this issue, along with so many creative projects, inspiration and all-around eye candy. It's on news stands now. I'll write more in the coming days of of our summer travels, which all centered around some sort of creative endeavor. We went to Rochester for the International Society of Glass Beadmakers annual gathering, and discovered the beauty of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. We also took a fun side trip to Niagra Falls and Toronto. Additional jaunts included a trip to New Jersey for a 2-day workshop with magnificent bead maker Kristina Logan, and a trip to Philly for another 2-day workshop on cloisonne enameling with the fabulously talented Linda Darty, followed by a discovery tour of the arty New Hope & Lambertville towns nearby. It was all a lot of fun but we admit we are glad to be home. I'm still not completely unpacked, but getting there. Now its back at the bench and the torch to get ready for our fall show schedule. It's slim picking on our website at the moment but I will remedy that in the coming week! Check back...
