On this eve of Thanksgiving I have to give thanks to my sweet husband Bill for all his help. As anyone in the arts and crafts community will tell you, the fun part of what we do is making things - playing in our studios, experimenting with glass, metal, clay and fibers. The other fun part is talking to customers at shows and festivals and seeing their faces light up when you have helped them find a special gift for themselves or others. What is a bit more taxing is setting up and breaking down from those shows, lugging heavy tents, bins and glass display cases. Our booth looks so great thanks to Bill's brawn and brains, figuring out our lighting and and keeping display racks from crashing down on customers. He loads and unloads all that cargo in and out of the truck. Not to mention all those lovely glass beads he makes.... Thank you Bill. We couldn't do it without you!
